Volunteer

We are a small, grass-roots, all-volunteer Nonprofit organization and rely on volunteers to ensure that the cats that come into our care receive the care that they deserve. Volunteers are indispensable to our mission and there are many ways to help. Our biggest need is for foster homes. We are a foster-based rescue so the number of cats we are able to take in is limited to the number of foster homes that we have available. We need foster homes for a variety of purposes:

• Care for kittens and pregnant mothers
• Care for older cats
• Rehabilitative homes for cats who are shy or have behavioral needs
• Medical foster homes for cats with ongoing medical needs
• Short-term homes to provide care for a few days only
• Homes for well-adjusted, easy adult cats

Whatever your interest, availability, or experience level, you can likely help meet our needs. We will provide training and support as needed and all supplies for daily care. Contact us by phone (413-351-6450) or email.

• Help with daily cat care at our intake and assessment facility
• Spend time socializing the cats in our intake facility
• Provide transportation to vet appointments
• Help with fundraising
• Input and track data
• Help with marketing
• Assist with adoptions and surrenders
• Manage social media
• Help with our children’s program
• Serve on a support team to advise pet owners regarding behavioral issues
• Help with individual social events
